The Eastern Swell

The Eastern Swell are an electric folk outfit, signed to Edinburgh’s Stereogram Recordings. Their debut album 'One Day, A Flood' was recorded with Pete Harvey (Modern Studies, Meursault, King Creosote) and was met with widespread critical acclaim. Described by The Scotsman as “blissful, burnished reveries...a pleasing patchouli oil-scented blend of prog rock, pastoral folk and psych soul”, the album was listed in a number of ‘best of the year’ album reviews. Louder Than War called it “A rather magical album, and definitely one of the finest releases of 2016”. The band’s second album ‘Hand Rolled Halo’ is due for release on 15th November 2018, preceded by the single "Down Again By Blackwaterside" on 26th October.

Storm The Palace

Storm the Palace are at the forefront of the cinematic folk-pop revolution you hadn’t realised you needed. Taking inspiration from European folk, sixties orchestral pop and nineties guitar bands, their songs interrogate everything from history and astronomy to meteorology and mass transit. Storm the Palace have been featured by blogs, newspapers and radio shows from the US to New Zealand, including BBC 6 Music and Radio Scotland. They have toured in the UK, Ireland and the West Coast of America.
